I wrote Blinded in 2021. I was trying to write a different song, much more emotional and melancoly – and this chorus kept jumping out at me! I realized it needed its own song, and Blinded was born. I produced it and released in as my second single of 2022.
I think of it basically as my best self-talk to 13-year old me experiencing my first depression. When depression hits me, sometimes I don’t know if I am going to be OK again, or how long it is going to take. It is my call for guidance and help, when I can not see straight. I hope it encourages you as much as it does me.
