I wrote this song in the spring of 2020, when the lockdowns had first begun. I had started taking piano the year before, and I was not very good. Mostly, I just sat down at the piano and started playing this easy riff, and it just really calmed me down. I paired it with Jesus words in Matthew 11:28-30, which have always helped me. “Come to me, all who are weary and heavy laden. I will give you rest. My yoke is easy, my burden is light.”
